Dried Flower Care Guide

How to get the best out of your flowers

Keep Dry.

Keep your blooms away from all sources of moisture to ensure they stay fresh and don’t mould.

We recommend keeping them out of bathrooms as the condensation can weaken their stems.

Keep Warm.

Make sure the flowers are kept in a room temperature environment, not too hot or cold.

This will ensure that they don’t become damp and have good airflow.

Life Span.

All dried flowers life spans will vary depending on type of bloom and the aftercare.

We would expect them to last between 1-3 years, which makes them an extremely eco-friendly alternative to their cut flower sisters. As we do not use any synthetic dyes within our flowers, they will naturally decompose over a period of time.

Please keep following our aftercare guide, be gentle with them and we hope you get plenty of enjoyment from your new arrangements.

Pampas Grasses.

Pampas Grass care is a little different, as you’ll need to give them some extra love and attention when they first arrive home.

The best thing to do is to leave them upright in a sunny spot for 24 hours to allow their plumes to drop.

You can shake them out by hand, or blast with a slow/cool setting on a hairdryer. We don’t recommend using chemicals (such as hairspray) but this can be used preserve the plumes from dropping too quickly.

Pampas grass will naturally shed over time.

Avoid Sunlight.

Your dried blooms will retain their colour better if they are kept out of any direct sunlight.

Otherwise you might start to notice quicker fading over time.
