Our Terms & Conditions

These are the terms and conditions upon which Bryonia makes available to the client(s), when providing any of our products and/or services. By paying our non refundable deposit fee to secure products and/or services with Bryonia, the client(s) agree to all of the applicable T&Cs detailed below.


General

  • 1.1 We reserve the right to supplement and amend the Terms and Conditions of Bryonia products and/or services at any time.

    1.2 If the client(s) do not sign and return a copy of the Terms and Conditions as listed herewith; by the act of paying a deposit fee, they are proceeding with the booking and entering into a contract, and therefore agree to these Terms and Conditions in principle.

    1.3 Additionally, Bryonia reserves the right to alter, suspend, restrict or terminate our prices, products and/or services for any reason, at any time.

  • 2.1 In the event that Bryonia are unable to supply product, service, or any substitute product or service to you at all, we shall notify you as soon as is reasonably possible and shall reimburse your payment in full, minus any costs to date.

    2.2 Cancellation of the Bryonia products and/or services by the client(s) must be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

    2.3 Any deposit fee paid will be retained regardless of the circumstances of the cancellation by the client(s), and other fees may be due dependant upon specific circumstances.

  • 3.1 Bryonia may wish to photograph or film our products and/or services in our workshops, events and/or weddings, and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future products and/or services. The client(s) consent to us photographing or filming our products and/or services as required, without restrictions.

    3.2 If the client(s) take any images or videos of our work, they consent to referencing Bryonia in any shared content.

    3.3 We reserve the right to publish, share or sell our creative property at any time.

    3.4 The client(s) will not use any imagery for their own marketing, promotional or teaching purposes without prior permission from Bryonia.

  • 4.1 Bryonia will not bear any liability for any damage or injury resulting from moving, touching or altering our products once delivered or collected.

    4.2 All products are for display purposes ONLY. For the purpose of safety, all products should be considered toxic and potentially harmful if consumed by humans and/or animals, and appropriate medical attention should be sought if required.

    4.3 If the client(s) choose to move our products, Bryonia is not liable for any damage to property or for any injury arising to persons occasioned during or subsequent to the relocation.

  • 4.1 In the rare instance that the client(s) are not satisfied with Bryonia’s products or services, any complaints should be addressed in the first instance, and within 1 working day of the delivery, to hello@bryoniaflowers.co.uk

    Client(s) will also include relevant photographs, reflecting their complaint where required.

    4.2 Due to the perishable nature of our products, you will be advised upon delivery how to store/ care for your product and we ask that you fulfil this as we are not responsible for their condition ongoing. Usually, the care instructions will be in line with our care guide here:

  • There are certain situations or events which may occur which are not within our reasonable control.

    Examples include, but are not limited to:

    Sudden ill health

    Adverse weather conditions

    Acts of God

    Industrial action

    Public disorder

    Road traffic accident/delays

    Unable to gain access to the location(s)

    Delays caused by other providers of services

    In the first instance, if Bryonia is unable to
personally complete or deliver our products and/or services due to circumstances beyond our control, then a member of our experienced freelance team or another appropriate florist will be required carry out the relevant tasks as substitute.

    If we are unable to provide our products and/or services in their entirety, then we will typically offer a refund of total amount paid, minus any costs to date. This will be reviewed on a case per case basis.

Weddings & Events

  • 1.1 All our products are subject to availability. In the event of any supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute a previously discussed ingredient or component with a design of equivalent value and quality without prior notice.

    1.2 In the event that we are unable to supply product, service or any substitute product or service at all, we shall notify the client(s) as soon as is reasonably possible.

    1.3 All in person & virtual consultations will be made by appointment only. The initial consultation is complimentary, and any additional consultations, meetings or site visits are chargeable to cover time and travel costs.

    1.4 We recommend all clients agree to an on site visit by Bryonia to allow for accurate planning for the wedding or event.

  • 2.1 Fees listed within the Bryonia proposals will remain valid for 14 days from the date sent to you. Prices in proposals should be taken as a guide, and our availability to provide our products/services is only confirmed for the 14 day validity period.

    2.2 The final invoice will be issued to the client(s) after the order has been confirmed. Full payment for the product or service must be received prior to the event or service, and no less than 6 weeks before the event. Bryonia reserves the right to cancel any flowers, if payment is not made by this date. We are not obliged to offer any compensation for inconvenience caused.

    2.3 Once flowers have been confirmed, any subsequent changes made to a wedding order must be submitted in writing by the clients(s) - such as event organiser, bride, groom or appointed acting party.

    2.4 Should the ingredients or components for the intended final design of the product or service rise significantly then we shall notify the client(s) as soon as reasonably possible and pass this cost on.

    2.5 The client(s) will not be allowed to make any significant changes 6 weeks prior to delivery without incurring additional fees. This accounts for our time to plan and prepare for any new or additional elements.

  • 3.1 Bryonia charges for travelling to any venue(s) at a cost of £20.00 per hour in transit, or part thereof, in addition to mileage at 0.50p per mile. This excludes any applicable van hire charges.

    3.2 Incorrect details may lead to problems or delays in delivery, so before placing or confirming an order for a product or service, we request that the client(s) have provided full address and telephone details, including accurate postcode of venue(s), and agreed recipient and contact telephone numbers so that we can notify the client(s) in the event that any delivery problems are encountered.

    3.3 Bryonia’s flowers will be delivered or set up at a time previously agreed with the client(s). If for any reason we are not able to meet the delivery or set up time, the client(s) will be notified as soon as feasibly possible.

    3.4 If possible, Bryonia will include a collection option within our quotation, this will need to be organised at a mutually convenient time for both parties. Last minute collections are unavailable.

  • 4.1 Bryonia charges for travelling to any venue(s) at a cost of £20.00 per hour in transit, or part thereof, in addition to mileage at 0.50p per mile. will personally deliver and set up your flowers, unless otherwise agreed or collection has been organised. For larger events, trusted team members will help to ensure smooth and timely set up.

    4.2 Bryonia accepts no responsibility for any damages caused once we have left the venue or you have collected your order, repairs to products (if possible) will be charged at an additional fee.

    4.3 Bryonia accepts no responsibility for failure to collect, wear or use any arrangements for specific use i.e. buttonholes or bouquets, once they have been left by our team at the venue. Any oversight to correctly collect and, for example, pin on buttonholes on behalf of the wedding party as a whole, or by an individual, remains the responsibility of said event organisers and/ or individual.

    4.4 Bryonia reserves the right to alter and change the location of our products on the day, due to weather conditions, other supplier impacts, or our professional judgement.

  • 5.1 Cancellation of the Bryonia products and/or services must be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

    5.2 Any deposit fee paid will be retained regardless of the circumstances of the cancellation.

    5.3 As per term 2.2, we must receive full payment 6 weeks before the event. If the client(s) cancel the event within this time, after we have received payment, we will be unable to offer a refund, and will retain the full amount.

    Please see below for following timescales and refund amounts:

    6 months or more before event date: Non refundable deposit fee retained, no further payment required

    3-5 months before the event date: Non refundable deposit fee retained, and 50% of final amount payable

    6 weeks – 3 months before the event date: Non refundable deposit fee retained, and 75% of final amount payable

    6 weeks up to event date: Non refundable deposit fee retained, and full amount payable.

  • 6.1 It is understood that Bryonia will act as the sole and exclusive florist on any event and/or wedding.

    6.2 By agreeing to these Terms & Condiitons, the client(s) agree that no other person, company, friend, family member (professional or otherwise), shall provide fresh, dried, or artificial floral products or services at the given location(s), without prior consent of Bryonia.

    6.3 This cause is in place to protect the image of Bryonia, and clarify assumptions around our responsibilities.

  • 8.1 Items hired or borrowed from Bryonia (such as vases, containers, props) shall at all times remain the property of Bryonia.

    8.2 The client(s) are responsible for the goods during the hire period from the time of delivery until the goods are accepted back into the possession of Bryonia.

    8.3 All items must be returned in the condition they were delivered or a replacement fee for the item will be charged. This will typically be deducted from the Item Hire - Deposit Fee.

    8.4 The hire period for all goods supplied by Bryonia will be variable and agreed prior, along with details for return/collection.

Workshops, Webinars & education

  • 1.1 Please note, Bryonia are unable to offer refunds on any non attendance or cancellations made by the client(s), this is due to preordered supplies & equipment.

    1.2 We reserve the right to cancel or rearrange our workshops, and we shall endeavour to give the client(s) at least one week’s notice of any changes.

    1.3 If a workshop or course is rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control, the client(s) will be offered alternative date(s). Please note no refunds will be given.

    1.4 If the client(s) are displaying any infectious or ill health symptoms, we ask them not to attend our workshop. Instead a workshop kit will be made available with instructions (P&P costs excluded) or another client can attend in their place.

    2.2. In the event that their are unforeseen events, acts of nature or likewise, alternative arrangements will be provided to ensure client(s) can create their arrangements at home. Please note, under no circumstances will refunds be given.

  • 2.1 No responsibility will be taken for any personal property or vehicles

    2.2 No liability will be taken for any personal injury obtained

    2.3 No responsibility will be taken for any personal allergies, intolerances or otherwise

    1.2 Most interactive websites use cookies to let us retrieve the user’s details for each visit. Cookies are used by our website to enable the functionality of certain areas to make it easier for people visiting our website. Some of our affiliate/advertising partners may also use cookies.

  • 2.1 Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities.

    2.2 We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

    2.3 We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

  • 3.1 Unless otherwise stated, Bryonia and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Bryonia. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Bryonia for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.
