Dunvegan Castle & Gardens, Isle of Skye, Scotland

What a lovely weekend we’ve just had - tootling around Skye in the camper, with beautiful blue skies during our annual Scottish roadtrip.

Every day was a perfect mix of exploring, eating yummy food and touring breathtaking landscapes. We particularly enjoyed our visit to Dunvegan, and this Castle & Gardens. The gardens were a mixture of casual and formal, plus they had a lovely mixture of flowers, tress and exotic plants to view accompanied by a sea backdrop (which we all know is my favourite from this previous garden visit).

The gardens cost £16 to enter, and that includes a self guided tour around the 800 year old castle (and it’s dungeon too).

Some pictures from the day can be found below…

Definitely add it to your ‘to visit’ list!
